Spoken
Various words related to items present in the class were taught. Kids were split up into 3 teams and they then answered questions about the items.
Anecdote
Today, the teachers were at a loss as the prayer 'Tumhi ho mata, pita tumhi ho' was amiss in our workbook. As it turned out, one of the kids (Maya) took the lead and helped the class out in reciting the prayer. While we will take steps to ensure that the teachers lead by example, it was a proud moment for us to see the Gurukul culture permeate so early in the kids.
