Thank you very much for your support and interest in helping us shape your childs learning. Your feedback motivates us to do a better job and we really appreciate your cooperation and understanding. We will try our best to incorporate your suggestions in future classes. Hindi Due to the PTA meetings, we did not have a regular Hindi class. Our parent volunteers Tanmeet ji and Neha ji did a marvelous job in revising the course material and working with the kids. Please ask the kids to revise DAYS OF THE WEEK (Pg No.39) in the binder for the next class. We also request that parents review the feedback provided in the mid-term results and work with the kids on focus areas. Use of flash cards, Skydrive/YouTube video links and everyday conversation will really help all kids become more fluent in Hindi
We will be starting VOWELS in the next class so please send ruled notebooks with your kids in the next class along with the following supplies and water bottle/snacks: 1. NOTEBOOK 2. PENCIL SHARPENED 3. ERASER 4. SCISSORS 5. GLUE STICK 6. SCOTCH TAPE 7. RULER 8. COLORS(CRAYONS /PENCIL)
Tanmeet ji and Neha ji – thank you very much for volunteering last Sunday; your assistance is really appreciated Spoken Hindi We started introducing new grammar construct for students- the Present Continuous form of a sentence. Until now they learnt “Neil khelta hai, Radha khaati hai..”. We introduced “Neil khel raha hai..” “Radha kha rahi hai…” concepts. This lesson will be continued in the next class as we were unable to cover some of the material planned due to time constraints.
Students also presented their prepared speeches on breakfast related conversation to our parent volunteers. In homework this week, students need to memorize a conversation from the two options provided- we will pair them up in the next class and they will conduct the conversation in Hindi Culture We introduced the kids to Indian musical instruments and some notable practitioners/players like Pt. Ravi Shankar, Ustaad Alla Rakha etc. Indian music is very diverse and each region in India provides a unique musical experience. You can view this presentation on our Sharepoint.
