Encourage kids to Identify Rang (colors in Hindi) of objects around the house.

Complete the activity on page no. 15 by cutting and pasting the words to the appropriate body parts of the person shown in the picture.

Count 1 to 20 in Hindi . Count different objects around the house in Hindi. For example : ek TV, paanch windows etc 
 
Complete the activity on page no. 21 in your folder by cutting and pasting the appropriate number words to the pictures shown.

Prepare / write one sentence in Hindi which has an animal, number, color and body part.

Next Sunday (Nov 7) we will have a quiz in two teams . The topics for quiz would be Animals, Numbers , Color and body parts. Pl ask your child to revise the topics mentioned above.

Complete the activity on page no. 33 in your binder. (Cut and paste the pictures and names of the fruits to the picture of fruit-basket.)

If your child was absent on last Sunday pl take the print out and give it your child.
(Just in case if you don't know - printouts can be taken from local public library for free of charge.)
 
2. Revise all the vocabulary words included in the topics that kids learnt so far.

1) Revision of letters : क  म य ह - Write these letters 5 times each per week.
 
2) List atleast 5 words starting with these letters . Write the words in Hinglish (Hindi word + English script)
e.g. letter क - words - Kaalaa, kaagaj, Kitaab, Kursi, Kandhaa
 
3) Listen to the alphabet song from Gurukul CD
 
Spoken Hindi:
 
1) Kids were given the worksheet. Answer all the questions on the worksheet in Hinglish.
2) Practise spoken Hindi - atleast 5 minutes everyday
 Suggested activities - Parents , read a story from Hindi storybook to your child.  Work on the worksheets given before. (Repetition is ok)
3) Recite the 1st para of song Lakdi ki kathi.

 

Hindi:  
Revise the letters - क म य ह  व र   (K, M, Y, H , V (or W) , R)
Write all the above letters 5 times for better practice.
Write 5 Hindi words starting with the letters - व and  र in Hinglish
e.g. व - vatan , veena ;  र - Ram, raat, rona etc
 
Additional activity: Parents , write the names of your family members in Hindi and ask your child to guess whose name is which by identifying the vowels and the consonants they have learnt so far.

Write  प for 5 times and list atleast 5 words starting with  प.
 
For Annual day I will send a line or two of a poem per kid . Please ask your child to recite these lines.
Each child will have a different line.

Last Sunday we learnt new vocabulary on page no. 66 - Earth and its elements

based on that - Answer the folowing questions in Hindi -
 

1) Akaash me kyaa hota hai?  (What do you see in the sky ? - expected ans - Suraj , sitara or chandani, chaand, baadal etc)

2) Akaash kaunse rang ka hota hai ? (What is the color of the sky - expected ans - aasmaani or neela )
Opposite of Roshni? (opposite of light - expected ans - Andheraa)

3) Air ko Hindi me kya kahate hai ? (a word for air in hindi? - Hawaa

4)Sunshine ko Hindi me kya kahate hai ? (a word for sunshine in hindi? - Dhoop)
 
Write these answers in the notebook or on a blank ruled paper and keep the paper in the binder.
